The documentary Salomon Kalou, l’Éléphant Chéri will be available on TracePlay on April 11th. Directed by Angel Chow-Toun, the movie offers a in depth look into the life of the Ivorian soccer player.
The Ivorian soccer player Salomon Kalou has, throughout his international career always defied the odds. From his childhood in a small village in Ivory Coast to the titles won with Chelsea and the national Ivorian football team, this movie relates the story of an outsider, who succeeded despite the difficulties he had to overcome.
Screened at the Berlin Football Film Festival on April 3rd, Salomon Kalou, L’Éléphant Chéri received the Public Choice Award. Angel Chow-Toun and Salomon Kalou were there to receive the Award.
Salomon Kalou, L’Éléphant Chéri will be broadcasted April 11th prime time on TRACE Sport Stars, the #1 channel dedicated to sports celebrities. It will also be available on TracePlay, the #1 destination for urban and afro-urban music and entertainment.
Angel Chow-Toun who directed the documentary declares, “When I met Solomon and his family, I really wanted to tell the story of a famil. And this history eventually became that of a continent. Monday 10th April at 6:pm (Paris time), the documentary Salomon Kalou, l’Éléphant Chéri will be premiering at the Ambassade of Ivory Coast in Paris, with Salomon Kalou and the director Angel Chow-Toun.
